Unplug your main sky box from the wall wait 10 seconds and plug this back in and wait for it to fully reboot.

No it s doubtful the link you posted above will do anything to fix your issue hardwiring from the router to the main box will do nothing either you need to hardwire from the main box to the mini box or hardwire from the main box to a sky q booster and wps from the booster to the mini box like i suggested earlier.
If it doesn t fix the satellite signal problem on your main box then try your sky q mini box again.
